December 2023

Hello Friends,

Just a quick note to share with you how our Exceeding Expectations family wrapped up 2023 with a couple of events we do each year.

First was the Tinsel Tri/5K in Hemet. Everyone raced well and had fun whether they participated in the triathlon or the 5K. I think these pictures tell the story.

Eleven-year-old Johnny's first triathlon…and he places first!

The next weekend, we did the Santa Paws 5K in Palm Springs where the spirit of Christmas was all around. Santa suits are provided for any participant who chose to wear one. Everyone raced well, even kids fully dressed as Santa! Exceeding Expectations was well represented on the podium.

Our good friend of EE, Guido Frackers, wanted eagerly to join us but was unfortunately out of town. So instead. he sent us to a wonderful lunch in downtown Palm Springs.

Again, let the pictures tell the story.

Um…no.

Aryan ran in the full suit.

The kids cleaned up at the podium. Here are Ricardo and Isi.

Thank you, Guido!

Our kids are truly exceeding expectations on the athletic field and, even more importantly, in their academic accomplishments. I hope these stories and pictures we share throughout the year indicate to you that your investment in the Exceeding Expectations kids is yielding a very good return. We thank you for generously supporting our kids.

The annual EE Awards and Scholarship party is being held in January and I look forward to sharing that day of recognition with you.

From our Exceeding Expectations family, we wish you all a good holiday and a very Happy New Year!

-Cherie
